Midnight, and all's well

I stumbled across this neat site tonight, it's sort of a build your own identikit. It's rather fun.

So I've been making a man, with blonde hair and a tan...



The scary thing is, I bet there is someone out there capable of reading this who looks just like that. On a planet whose population is growing at 6 million per month, there is plenty of scope for a visual match.

One of my favourite authors is a man named David Wingrove. He wrote a series of books set in an Earth future where the continents had become vast cities built of plastic "ice" a kilometre high. A planet ruled by a class system where everyone found their level. Chung Kuo is well worth the read.

Keep banging those rocks together, folks.
