Cats and rats
Loopy caught a mouse the other night. Nasty me took it off her to see what reaction Tommy would have, seeing as how he doesn't appear to be a working feline and hasn't shown any hunting ability yet.
He grabbed it and wouldn't give it back, so I put him out the window to eat his score. Two minutes later, he was back in. He went to his bowl, put the mouse in it, ate a few bikkies and then ate the mouse. Loopy went without her mouse - Cat Karma at work.
The moral of this story is: just because one eats like an animal, does not mean one must dine like an animal.
In the meantime, the Rat Empire is striking back.
"A sperm’s quest to fertilize an egg is a lonely one, as scientists traditionally portray it. But for rats and mice, that’s not always true: the sperm can join into teams, determined by who they came from, researchers have found...
...Rat and mice are promiscuous animals. Consequently, more than one male’s sperm may be in the female at a given time, fighting its way toward the egg in an attempt to be the one that can fertilize it." more..
I'm not quite sure what to add to that, but give me some time, something will come to me.
