Small changes
The Reserve Bank made a teensy tiny cock-up when they introduced the new coinage and threw out the nice, heavy, easily found old coins - they forgot to make sure they ordered enough 20c coins.
I think they should immediately revoke all local councils rights to charge for parking and remove the need to chuck money into the meters and thereby reduce the demand for parking meter-sized money. That will free up demand on the nasty new 10 cent, the new 50 cent, one and two dollar coins and save face for the Reserve Bank.
Doing thus might also mean more people parking and walking around in the cities, and the latest new gadget to stop pedestrians who aren't very bright being run down by cars will get greater exposure. It's a countdown timer to tell people how many seconds before the cars start driving all over their arse.
And it doubles as a counting game for children. Isn't that neat? Maybe on April Fools Day they could set it to display random numbers. That would be fun!! :0)

I'm sure blind people will really like the look of it and so will the boyracers who will now have a starting gun when dragging up Queen Street.
